Description: This is an LP-CD Combo of Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies, Original Broadway Cast Recording, starring the late Gregory Hines, Judith Jamison, Phyllis Hyman, Gregg Burge, Hinton Battle, Terri Klausner, PJ Benjamin and more under the musical direction of Mercer Ellington. There was a CD release of this musical production but it is incomplete (six tracks were dropped, perhaps to make it fit on one CD). Here's the complete recording of the double LP transferred to 2 CDs with the full 30 tracks. Hands down one of the most memorable musical performances of the 80s. And Terri Klausner/PJ Benjamin, if you're out there, you guys rock our socks!
